It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the website of The Antigua and Barbuda National Association (London).
Our Organisation was formed in 1967 by a group of Antiguan nationals living in London at the time, who had a strong desire to meet and socialise with other Antiguans.
Early discussions highlighted the need to constitute an executive body to manage the affairs of the Association and to address the social and welfare needs of fellow Antiguans living in London and in Antigua.
As the Association grew over the years the list of events organised for the benefit of members and others steadily grew. The calendar of events for the forthcoming year can be viewed on this site.
Although our Association is London based, we recognise that Antiguans and Barbudans reside in diverse places throughout the length and breath of the UK. We are familiar with Antiguan/Barbudan communities in Leicester and Slough and work closely with individuals and groups in those areas. We are eager to reach fellow nationals throughout the UK. Whether you live in the UK or you are a student on a course for a few months or longer period we want to hear from you. Perhaps you are a visiting business person, government official or a tourist we would be delighted to make your acquaintance.
Despite many years of living away from Antigua and Barbuda we proudly maintain our Antiguan/Barbudan traditions and culture. We continue to sing with great enthusiasm and patriotism the National Anthem of Antigua and Barbuda at our meetings.
